5th Grade Overview

Fifth Grade Supplies

• 1 set of headphones, such as these or these (PLEASE NO gaming headphones with microphone)
• Due to the uncertainty surrounding the structure of school in the fall, in lieu of providing school supplies for your child, please provide a gift card to either Amazon (email to cshpizner@smfcsd.net or mloeser@smfcsd.net) or Target in the amount of $25 (or any amount that is comfortable). We will use these donations to replenish supplies as needed throughout the year as well. Your contributions are much appreciated. All necessary supplies will be provided for your child.

Parental Involvement

Parents and guardians are welcome to visit 5th grade classrooms. Please remember to check in at the office first and get a visitor pass. Join our PTA and/or become a room parent.  Become a PTA Member

Some ways to help include: 

• Join in or watch a lesson
• Attend a field trip
• Help the teacher with photo copies and other class organization tasks
