Assistant Principal

 I am thrilled to continue in the role of Assistant Principal at Lead Elementary. Born and raised in Daly City alongside my  twin brother,  I now reside in San Mateo with my two boys.

I earned my undergraduate degree from USF and my teaching credential from SFSU. In 2008, I returned to USF to complete a Master’s Degree in Teaching with a Reading Specialist Certificate. With over 21 years in education, I’ve spent the last nine years at Lead—initially teaching first grade and, for the past four years, serving as the Student Support TOSA, and last year as Assistant Principal. This experience has allowed me to work closely with our administrators, and I am eagerly looking forward to collaborating with Ms. Delahunt this year.

I am passionate about engaging with our students and families daily, and I deeply believe in the power of building relationships and trust. Having worked in various districts and schools, I can confidently say that Lead is the most exceptional community I’ve ever been a part of. The dedication of our teachers and staff to creating safe, warm, and inclusive learning environments is truly inspiring. Lead Elementary has become a second home to me, and I am excited for what promises to be a wonderful year ahead.
