The LEAD Elementary PTA will host the 2017 Fall Festival beginning with a kick-off LEAD School Dedication and Grand Opening at 4:30 followed by Festival Fun from 5:00-7:00 PM on the LEAD School Grounds. This highly anticipated community building event will have games, pie in the face, food, crafts, sack races, entertainment, face painting, a cupcake walk, and a crazy hair spray station. Fundraising? The Fall Festival proceeds will help contribute to digital literacy, physical education, STEM, art, field trips and many other programs that provide our students with the necessary tools to strengthen our educational environment.

Why a Fall Festival? The Fall Festival fulfills multiple important goals for our school. The most urgent goal is to raise money to counteract budget cuts and enhance classroom learning. But, just as important, we are bringing LEAD Elementary families and the community together for a fun, social activity. We’re involving the community and local businesses to help us strive for the success of their community school. And, it’s a great opportunity to educate people about the many ways to support our students and get involved at the school.

Where do I buy tickets? Fall Festival tickets and wrist bands may be purchased in advance or at the event. Tickets cost $1.00 each. Food and drink range from one to five tickets. All games are one ticket. An unlimited games and activity wristband will be available for $15. *Wristbands will only be available as a pre-festival purchase. No wristbands will be sold at the Fall Festival. Tickets and wristbands can be purchased before or after school October 23 through October 26.
Looking forward to seeing you all after break and at our Fall Festival. I’ll be in the Pie in the Face booth!
